Where can we hold our ceremony?

The possibilities are endless. You can have your wedding anywhere you want. We have officiated wedding ceremonies in reception halls, on the beach, in parks, in back-yards and in living rooms. This is your wedding, where do you want it to be?

Can we write our own vows?

Yes! We love it when couples elect to write their own vows. Rest assured, we also have lots and lots of vow samples that you can look through. You can pick from our list if you like. You can even use our samples for inspiration when writing your own vows. If you need help, just ask.

Do you solemnize same-sex marriages?

We don't know what "same-sex marriage" is anymore. Before October 21, 2013 we were forced by law to call it Civil Union. Now, we just call it marriage, like it always should have been. Oh! Almost forgot... we would be honored to marry you!

Is the ceremony religious?

Your wedding is based on your ideas and beliefs. Your wedding can be as religious or non-religious as you like. It's your call.

Can we include our children?

Absolutely! There are many great ways that children can be incorporated into a wedding ceremony. This is a great topic to bring up during your initial consultation with your officiant.

Can we include our pets?

Yes, Yes & Yes! We are animal lovers. Every officiant on our team has pets living at home with us. Heck, they're not even pets. They are part of our family. It would be fantastic to include your best dog, ring bearing feline or flower eating iguana. Sit, stay... whatever

Should we invite the officiant to the reception?

It's very rare that we stay for a reception. Typically, we will hang about and mingle with your guests after the end of the ceremony. Once your marriage license is all squared away, we will make a quiet exit.

What if an emergency pops up?

Sure, we joke a little bit but we take this just as seriously as you do. We have checks in place to make sure that you are covered. Our service agreement clearly states that in the event of an accident, emergency, or death that we will do everything within our power to ensure that an acceptable alternate officiant will be there for you.

Since 2008 we have officiated well over a thousand wedding ceremonies. In that time, there have been three occasions that prevented the scheduled officiant from being able to participate. In all three cases, we were able to cover the wedding ceremony with a substitute officiant. Everything still proceeded on time and on plan.

We won't let you down.

Can we fake it? We're already married but nobody knows that.

Well, there's really no such thing as a fake wedding ceremony but we would be happy to help you. There are a few details we will need to go over first. We can talk about these during our initial consultation. Don't worry. We can keep a secret.

If we book, is there a contract?

Yes. Our service agreement clearly states what, where, when and how services will be provided. We VERY strongly recommend that you have a signed agreement with every wedding vendor that you choose. This protects both you and the vendor. Click here for an interesting article on wedding contracts.

How far in advance should we book?

If our schedule is open (and you have a marriage license), we could marry you today. Prime dates should be booked as soon as you have a venue secured. These dates usually start to fill eight to twelve months in advance.
